Returns

What to do if a piece is not right for you.

Sample text. This page is a starting point, not legal advice. Replace it with your own terms before you sell, and have it checked for the places you sell to.

Changing your mind

State how many days a buyer has to tell you they want to return a piece, how many days they then have to send it back, and who pays for the return postage.

Made-to-order pieces

Explain whether made-to-order and commissioned pieces can be returned. Some places give buyers a legal right to cancel distance purchases; check what applies where you sell.

Seconds

Seconds are described with their marks before you buy. Say whether they can be returned for a change of mind, and confirm that faulty items are always covered.

Refunds

Say how refunds are paid (usually back to the original payment method through your payment provider) and how long they take once the piece is back.
