About

One bench, two trades.

The workshop splits down the middle, with a wheel and kiln on one side and a bench and saw on the other. Pots and furniture share the same rules. They should be useful first, then good to look at, and every page says how long each piece takes.

Everything in the shop is made here, by hand and in small numbers. Ceramics are thrown on the wheel, trimmed, and fired twice. Furniture is cut, shaped and joined by hand, then finished with oil.

How pieces are sold

Pieces that are finished and photographed are listed in stock and leave the workshop within a few days. Larger pieces are made to order, and the lead time is written on each one. Seconds are pieces with small marks, described honestly and priced lower.

Commissions

Most pieces can be made in another size, wood or glaze. Write with what you have in mind and where it will live, and we will reply with a price and a date.
